A splashing good time at beautiful
Lester Prairie pool

A hot summer day will find dozens of children enjoying the cool waters of the Lester Prairie pool, with its fantastic slides and beautiful waterworks.
Generations of children will be able to enjoy the pool, thanks to a final endowment of $200,000 from the late Art Schwitchtenberg the largest donation ever received by the city making the pool’s future financially secure.
The pool is a service provided by the City of Lester Prairie that is well used in the warm months of the year.
A fun, family environment can be expected at the pool as well as clean and newly renovated shower facilities, a concession stand, lifeguards, and a park right next door.
The pool, complete with a fun water slide and diving board, boasts a kiddie pool area with fun water toys as well.
During off-pool hours, the pool can be rented out for private events like birthday parties or family get-togethers. There is an hourly cost, which includes two lifeguards.
The pool house recently received new epoxy floors as well as new toilets and bathroom stalls.
Pool goers are welcome to bring their own food along with them for the day, but can enjoy the concession stand also.
The pool opens in June as soon as school lets out and closes for the year when school resumes in the fall.
A considerable amount of renovation has been completed to the pool and the pool deck in the past several years and has improved the overall “fun factor” for all.
